Addtionally, the ceiling design concept accomodates the high level of lighting Sephora requires, but also seamlessly addresses the web of utlities and heights of transportation lines above the rear of the store. A combination of curves, coves and directional lighting open up the space. Freshly produced digital guides, personalized services, along with a curation of elevated brands provide a customized and more personable shopping experience for the local client. Meant to supplement her traditional Sephora Fleet store, this smaller neighborhood location aims to evolve her beauty experience. These complex curved volumes, made necessary a high-degree of 3D concept design and engineering. A constant dialougue between 3D model, 2D drawings and fabrication know-how contributed to the high degree of craftsmanship in the final product. Simultanously, the design intent was meticulously refined with several civic and commerce partners--all stakeholders along the Magnificent Mile.
